Gosh, not much has happened this week that is blog worthy. (but I said I'd post once a week in an effort to revive this) I did do quite a bit of walking, kept up with my soda goal (trying to switch over to sweet tea instead then gradually make the switch to water full time) and did MUCH better with the fast food thing.

I haven't had my coffee yet so that probably explains why my brain is still kinda foggy.

  1. I'm also in the process of transitioning from soda/tea to water. I'm splitting my water intake between regular water and crystal light. Having 1 liter bottles of water is handy! I just keep one with me at all times, and whenever I see it, I know to take a few sips. Gradually, it's becoming second nature.

  2. I have a big water bottle by my bed so when I get thirsty during the middle of the night its there or if I'm reading it's a good reminder. And I think if I had a bottle of water on my desk at work I would definitly be more inclined to drink it. Thanks for the comments!!

  3. I thought it would be much harder making the switch to 95% water, since sweet tea runs in my veins. I miss it the most when I eat at Sonny's. We now have a great fridge. Cold water is so refreshing and I'm now preferring it to most things. I will tell you about a nice change of pace though. Mio is a small triangular squirt bottle with concentrated flavors. It's like a crystal light without the powder. Their sweet tea has no calories, carbs or caffeine and tastes very nice. Good luck with your goals....praying that you stay focused and God works even more on your heart and showing you wonderful things while you make this transformation. Love ya.
